The Power Champion AM300 Range

The AM 300 range are hydro-pneumatic pie and tart machines available in single or 2 station formats. These machines have several important and useful features.

The use of pneumatic power gives very fast movements, whilst the hydraulics give the gentle squeezing action that is essential for quality pastry products.

AM300 features include thermostatic temperature control over tonnage applied, adjustable dwell at the bottom of the stroke and an efficient guard for the protection of the user It has a capacity of up to 300mm diameter and double headed dies up to 140 mm diameter.

The AM 300RT has a 2 station rotary Indexing table which allows the operator to load and unload the next container during the production cycle, therefore allowing for vastly improved workflow. Full PLC control of many important features including - speed of index, dwell time, pressure applied, duration of air blast, and air pressure of container release system. Also it incorporates our clever container ejection system (for easy removal of containers by the operator) using compressed air cylinders.

AM300 RT Scotch Pie Machine

The AM300 RT Scotch Pie Machine, 2 Station, is a very sophisticated machine. Within the control there is a PLC (Programme Logic Controller) this will allow fine tuning of a large number of the facilities present on this unit. The indexing table allows the operator to load and unload the machine during the forming operation, thereby considerably increasing throughput. Speed of rotation can be adjusted according to the size and type of product being produced.

Powerful electric elements heat both the die and the base. They are thermostatically controlled but have a special feature that enables them to "learn", which allows the machine to minimize fluctuations in temperature.
