Little/Medium Champion Fault Finding
Fault or Issue
Machine Operation Difficult
Die Equipment Difficult to Use or Unsatisfactory Release of Product.
Die Equipment Not Heating
Die Equipment Not Releasing Containers
Lever Does Not Return To Upright Position
Not Pressing to Full Depth
Action To Be Taken
Still Faulting
Apply oil to the 4 oil wells and grease main downshaft. Clean with WD40 first. DO NOT use vegetable oil. Use an approved food lubricant i.e Foodlube
Link Arm/Link Pins could be worn or distorted & need replacing.
Dissemble die equipment. Clean all surfaces with a stiff brush. Apply grease to metal on metal surfaces. DO NOT immerse die equipment in water. Always Clean and dry after use.

Element Fault/Element Power Cable
Air Release: Check Air Valve and clean where appropriate. Increase Air pressure where possible. Check pipe system for leaks.
Non Air Release: Remove, clean & grease knock off pins.
Send to JH for Diagnostics
Check Disc Spring. Lubricate Main Downshaft
Ensure rotary handle is held back through full travel of the lever arm.
Link Arm/Link Pins could be worn or distorted & need replacing.
8 Station Fault Finding
Fault or Issue
Not Blocking Properly
Underside of foil container "Sucking Up"
Die Equipment Not Releasing Containers
Action To Be Taken
Dissemble die equipment. Clean all surfaces with a stiff brush. Apply grease to metal on metal surfaces. DO NOT immerse die equipment in water. Always Clean and dry after use.
Check Air Valve. Check Air Connections. Replace Necessary.
Check Air Valve as above. Knock off ring not sliding freely. Knock off plungers faulting or damaged. Clean and Lubricate Knock - off ring. Replace parts as necessary.
Still Faulting
Ensure knock-off ring slides freely on top body casting. Check springs in good condition

Incorrect heat setting. Adjust and test again.
Not cutting off pastry cleanly
Remove brass nut at base of centre spindle. Remove shaft & springs. Check replace as necessary and reverse procedure.

Machine needs re-centralising
